The Center Path will be offering an Introduction to Paganism class on Saturdays in May. This class will offer students an understanding of what Paganism is, a history of Paganism in America, an overview of the various Pagan traditions, an understanding of basic Pagan practices, and an overview of the Pagan year.
The class will cost $125, and will consist of four 2-hour sessions. If you’re interested, email email@example.com for more details. Check back here for updates.
Register below. (Class size limited to 10 students)
The text we will use for this class is Paganism: An introduction to Earth – Centered Religions by Joyce & River Higginbotham. If you can’t find a copy at your local bookseller, you can find it at Amazon.com here
Our first spiritual film discussion night will be tomorrow night – this Tuesday. The film is The Spirit of Albion, which is perfect for Samhain, and likely the first film created by Pagans, for Pagans. Come by The Center Path, tomorrow at 7:00 PM
The Address is 1 Washington St. in Dover. Come in the center door, take the elevator to the third floor, and walk down the hall to the left until you come to the East Suites. We’re in suite 3110.
We are going to be holding healing circles at The Center Path on the second Saturday and 4th Sunday of each month. We’ll start at 7 pm and go until 8, 8:30 or so. The first will be this Saturday – it’s short notice, but I wanted to get it going. Check out the calendar for more info.
For the first few minutes, we’ll light a candle and offer up prayers and energy to those who are on our prayer lists. Then we’ll have an energy share for those who would like to participate. Come and join us!
Thanks to everyone who showed up for our Mabon celebration at The Center Path. We had a great time, and we’re looking forward to many other great events! Be sure to check our calendar for anything you might be interested in.
I’ve added a donation button to The Center Path web page. If you feel that you would like to help in what we do, then please consider a donation to help us along. We do have expenses – rent, ritual items, our Pagan Pizza Party, films, disks and so forth. I’m happy to do what I’m doing, but if you want us to be able to do more for the community, then feel free to help us out!
What do you get for helping? Well, anyone who contributes at least $20.00 in a calendar year will be considered a member – this entitles them to half-price at any of our special classes (classes for rituals are always free for everyone), library privileges (as soon as the library is running, and the knowledge that you are a supporter of The Center Path. We may add more perks in the near future.
Also, as soon as is possible, I’ll be getting an FEID as part of our transition to an actual non-profit organization, and at that point, we’ll have a different paypal account. And, as soon as we are actually a non-profit, your donations will be tax-deductible.
If you do make a donation, and want that money to go to a specific purpose, please let me know.
Our first showing for our spiritual film discussion nights will be The Spirit of Albion.
We’ll be showing it on Tuesday, October 23.
I don’t have a wide-screen set yet, so if anyone might like to help with that, I’ve got one that I should be able to repair for about $150, or I’ll be bringing in an old set with about a 30″ screen. If someone might be able to provide a wide-screen set or projector, that would be welcome also – but whatever happens, we’ll make do with what we have.
There will be no charge, but free-will offerings will be accepted to help fund this project for future offerings.
Please RSVP so we can know how many people to expect - we have room for about 20 people.
Haxan: Witchcraft through the ages .
Parking is available on the street, or in open spaces in our mill parking lot.
Thanks to The folks of The Spirit of Albion for permission to show this film.
Dee, Jasper and John will be at Southern NH Pagan Pride on September 8. Dee will be teaching a class on creating amulets, we’ll be selling some items at our tent, and John will be doing readings. It’s a great event, with great music, awesome people and a whole lot to do for the entire family. We hope to see you all there. Click the link or the image to go to the SNHPPD web site.
